Business finance fintech, BIZL, appoints new head of partnerships

The start-up business finance comparison platform has appointed Pratik Shah as head of partnerships.

In his newly created senior role, Pratik will take the lead on forging strategic partnerships as BIZL looks to expand rapidly across the UK. He will be responsible for fostering local and national relationships with other SME-focussed advisors and service providers as part of BIZL’s plan to change the way small businesses obtain finance.

Pratik joins BIZL from NatWest where he worked directly with SMEs, providing finance and banking solutions to his London-based clients. Prior to that he worked with fintech companies, supporting their ambition to partner with the bank through proof of concepts and pilot studies.

Josh Greenway, BIZL’s founder, said:

“I am really excited to be able to welcome Pratik to the team. He represents what we are all about – credibility, integrity and innovation. His appointment demonstrates our ambition to transform the SME finance market, putting business owners in the driving seat by giving them real choice and real transparency.”
