Job description:       
An opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s most respected building societies within their hugely successful commercial finance subsidiary.

Joining in this entry level position, based from their flagship head office in Skipton, West Yorkshire, you be required to perform the following primary duties:
  • To be responsible for the accurate processing and allocation of all notification schedules cash / BACS receipts and collating any necessary paperwork for a portfolio of factoring / invoice discounting clients.
  • To be responsible for the sales ledger maintenance, credit control, and sales ledger reconciliation of a portfolio of factored and invoice discounting client sales ledgers.
  • To report potential risk situations to the Relationship Manager/Assistant Client Services Manager/Head of Client Services.
  • To be a supportive and participative team member ensuring that the duties of team members are effectively carried out in their absence.
  • To build and maintain client and debtor relationships, promoting the name of the organisation by providing a first class level customer service.
  • To generate additional income for the business but not by compromising their security and recognising the opportunity of offering their services to possible prospective clients.

Essential skills:         
The successful candidate will be able display the skills required to succeed in such a diverse role, particularly the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and to strict deadlines.

You will be computer literate with fast accurate keyboard skills and ideally be able to display a strong academic record including as a minimum Maths & English G.C.S.E (A-C Grades).
