An excellent opportunity to work in a well established and highly regarded invoice finance business, and part of a larger banking group, providing mid ticket invoice finance and asset-based lending facilities across the UK. This is effectively a training ground to progress into a full new business role.
The office based role involves the support of a top quality experienced new business team assisting in the generation of quality new business leads which can then be developed into solid prospects.
You will be responsible utilising and analysing a range of prospect data to effectively understand the market and to identify where “warm leads” may exist. This would include revisiting previous leads, following up on in bound responses to marketing activities. You will contact these prospects and have discussions to determine if they represent a viable new business opportunity before arranging for a Business Development Manager to visit. You will be equipped with a range of market leading products and will have the ability to offer flexibility and innovative solutions for good prospects.
Other responsibilities would include maintaining the CRM system, analysing and delivering data as MI to senior management, diary support for the Business Development Managers. You will also engage with other businesses in the group, for example leasing, to identify cross sale opportunities.
We are keen to receive applications from candidates currently working in the invoice finance sector who have the ambition to develop in business development. You may, for example currently support a sales team or perhaps works as an Assistant Relationship Manager.
