Salary to £120000 plus the benefits associated with a Senior Leadership role

(Based Thames Valley with travel)

Our client is a diverse Global Corporate with significant interest in the provision of Business Lending around the World primarily focussing upon supporting SME’s to build and grow their businesses.

As the organisation continues to expand and grow they are now looking to make a strategic appointment to support their significant business change and transformation plans.

We are looking for an individual to lead the commercial management of their companywide cost base, working with stakeholders to shape the business ensuring it remains financially efficient whilst continuing to deliver its strategic business plan.

The job holder will be responsible for the ownership of the cost model providing input, challenge, assistance and audit to cost centre owners whilst also executing the broader brief of reviewing and evaluating and administering supplier contracts procured by the organisation.

This is a Senior leadership role managing, directing and leading a highly skilled and qualified team at a time where there will be significant change both internally and in the broader external world of Global Financial Services.

Ideally, we are looking for a highly skilled and numerate leader with significant experience in the field of business lending to the SME Sector. Whilst a financially focussed role there is a significant requirement for broad Operational skill and a detailed understanding of the dynamics and efficiencies required to be operationally effective in a highly complex and competitive market. Experience of procurement and exposure to outsourced contracts would also be a significant advantage.
