This is a high profile senior area director role, leading the manufacturing industry specialist team. It is the largest SME team in the Midlands by number of line reports and largest manufacturing team nationally. It is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has personal “growth aspirations” in a key sector which supports the Bank’s Helping Britain Prosper commitments.
The team is experienced and diverse and in growth mode and delivering to high levels in a number of key deliverables with one of the highest client scores in the SME manufacturing. The team is well placed to capitalise on the opportunities in the market to grow further an already strong market share which is already well in excess of the national market share of manufacturing businesses.
You will develop the capability of the Relationship Management team, and support them in all aspects of their work, specifically developing their own local business plans and manage their client portfolio to ensure full adherence with all policy, procedure and compliance requirements.
You will ensure operational and business development activity compliance with internal and external polices (including credit), asset quality, standards, reporting, legal, statutory and /or regulatory requirements are met in order to reduce business and personal risk and operational loss within the bank.
