Our client, a rapidly growing provider of Property Finance, is looking to hire a new Head of Sales to lead and grow their Sales team based in Manchester.
You will be responsible for leading and developing the sales team to maximise business opportunity and drive new business performance in addition to contributing towards long term company strategy.
Work with the Managing Director to develop and deliver a sales strategy for the sales team
Develop and manage annual business plans identifying key activities, priorities and risks.
Develop, implement and execute a short, medium and long term strategic plan to achieve company objectives
Take responsibility for management and development of key accounts
Compile and analyse sales figures and produce weekly and monthly reports to the MD
Recruit and train new staff
promising specific areas of growth so as to maximise sales in all potential areas
Embody strong ethics, values and high standards and apply that to the sales team
Responsible for targeting, motivating, managing and monitoring the performance of individual BDMs and Bridging Specialists (BS)
Carry out effective appraisals, setting meaningful and motivating objectives and identify development needs
Provide effective sales team coaching
Attend industry events and conferences to raise the profile of the business and generate new business relationships
The successful candidate will be able to display a successful track record within commercial/residential property finance sales. Due to the seniority of the role, candidates must have extensive experience of leading and motivating a team.
