Our client, one of the UK's leading independent providers of Financial Services to businesses requires a Business Development Professional to join their expanding Specialist Finance sales team in Yorkshire and the North East of England.
You will build professional working relationships with all introductory sources and act as the Specialist Finance contact across your region. The role will allow you to promote and manage sales of the company’s products and services, ultimately generating and converting new business opportunities.
Assist with and generate new business from a range of introductory sources
Increase the number of enquiries received by working with regional sales offices in establishing profitable working relationships with SME business introducers
Prepare and submit new business files to credit committee
Assist with and ensure the smooth and efficient management of take-ons for clients.
Maintain up to date introducer records
Develop your knowledge and understanding of the receivable finance industry including competition, people, products and risk
Develop your knowledge and understanding of all Specialist Finance Products.
Sales experience is beneficial but not essential for the role, candidates with Invoice Finance experience (e.g Relationship Managers/Operational roles) looking to move into a Sales role will be considered
Firm understanding of the principles of Invoice Finance lending and legal implications is essential
Strong technical knowledge of Invoice Finance / Asset Based Lending is highly beneficial
You will need the ability to read and understand financial statements
This is a regional role where you will out of the office approx. 3 days per week.
