Our client is a leading banking organisation who are looking to recruit a Relationship Manager within their commercial banking team in Manchester running a portfolio of accounts with turnover up to £30m and developing new to bank business.
This role suits a self-motivated, challenge driven individual who is currently in the banking sector. At the heart of this role is business development, client interaction and developing long-term customer relationships. It is also about championing the client first and becoming a real part of the business community. This will be an extremely rewarding role which provides considerable opportunity for personal development and excellent exposure to external clients and internal senior management.
Be seen as a “go to” banker in Central Manchester. High profile with external influencers and the local business community to achieve the bank’s aim of being number one in the local market.
Promote the bank’s image in the local community/market with a range of stakeholders including influential, high value clients in order to develop business.
Identifying customer needs and develop strategies and solutions to meet those needs, leveraging product, coverage and support teams where relevant.
Responsibility for all income, product sales and risk within your own portfolio of clients.
Ensure activities complies with internal and external polices (including credit), asset quality, standards, reporting, legal, statutory and /or regulatory requirements.
Provide strong customer Relationship Management to develop a mutually beneficial relationship as a trusted advisor to translate customer needs into appropriate solutions.
