Senior Consultant –Touch

introducer to the invoice finance market which has, and continues to project,
circa 20% year-on-year growth.
Senior consultant role
Successful candidates will
ideally have experience in the following areas:
The purpose of the senior
consultants role is to assess the requirements of the customer and introduce
them to the relevant lender/s in respect of our core products (invoice finance
and accountancy referrals). Additionally, the consultant will also have an
ability to identify additional or alternative funding requirements outside
these core products and will make relevant introductions as required.
- Invoice finance sales or
client management experience
- Good understanding of
general commercial finance and alternative forms of finance
- Have a good telephone manner
and the ability to articulate and communicate the benefits of our products and
- The ability to work with
customers/introducers to and broker the right deal for the customer
- Accept, verify and track
leads received and discuss requirements with prospect.
- Produce written proposals to
lenders which will provide a broad summary of a company’s current position and
- Demonstrates an
understanding of all products in order to identify opportunities to offer to
- Monitor and maintain live
pipeline and provide feedback to BDM.
- Dealing with a lead from raw
data to converted client. Regular contact with lenders and prospects and
assisting (Broking the deal) wherever possible.
- Discuss with clients their
commercial finance enquiries, understanding best possible financial solution
and creating proposals for introduction to the market.
- Ensuring all tasks are up to
date on a daily basis using our database management (Salesforce) system.
- Monitor web system for new
- Review information submitted
by the client and aim to call within 15 minutes of this being received to
obtain further information regarding the company and its needs, and ensuring
all relevant information is obtained;
- Sales/target focused with an
ability to understand and recognise quickly opportunities over the phone;
- Explore the company further
by reviewing its website/check on Companies House, etc;
- Refer the customer to the
most suitable lender – making the decision based on discussions within the team
and personal product knowledge;
- Follow up call to client to
ensure lender has been in contact/obtain date of their meeting; and
- Further follow up call after
meeting has been held to obtain feedback as to whether or not they will be
using their services or alternative lender needs to be sought and provide
feedback to lender re clients response.
- Thorough understanding of
commercial finance products
- Trained to ABFA level
regarding asset based lending /relevant work experience (preferred)
- Ideally with sales
- Demonstrate understanding of
how to create quality proposal to lenders and partners.
- Comprehensive skills
regarding excel and word
- Polite, confident and
professional telephone manner
- Report writing skills
- Good ability to multi task
- Relationships and contacts
- Reports daily to the broker
manager but with direct responsibilities to the BDM.
- Working within the inbound
section of the Touch Financial team.
