Sales manager - Industrial

East/ West Midlands, Leeds, Sheffield/Yorkshire, London, north east, south and south east, south west and South Wales

Salary/benefits:

Up to £50k plus benefits.

Job description:

Duties include:
Experienced sales leader with proven performance exceeding profitable volume targets, asset growth, new customer generation and customer retention
Change agent influencing others, driving change/results and accomplishing goals through collaborative effort
Executive and customer presence; ability to operate and build consensus at multiple levels of the organisation
Develop and execute on a industry business plan including pipeline reporting, market share analysis, pricing analysis for new customers
Direct interaction with key customers' management team forecasting credit line & other customer needs
Direct and indirect pro-active sales efforts including developing account strategies for targeted dealers, direct prospecting with appropriate follow up, and cold calling
Execute creative sales campaign and assist with coordination/ representation of GE sales force at trade shows.

Essential skills:

Suitable candidate will have strong commercial lending experience including sales, marketing and credit background. Hold strong leadership skills including excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills. Demonstrated analytical, statistical, process and problem solving skills. Have a good working Knowledge of the industrial industry. Hold a good understanding of the legal requirements relating to title of ownership. Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time. Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships at all levels of the business unit.
Candidates ideally will have Vendor programs/distribution finance experience; inventory finance / floor planning experience. Also process improvement/ quality methodology experience.
