Job description:

A unique opportunity has arisen to develop a rewarding career within a highly successful privately-owned group of businesses.

Working for one of the renowned Dragons, supporting and reporting to the commercial director in helping to manage the operation of the nationwide retail businesses with a turnover of £130m, your responsibilities will include assisting with the negotiation of key contracts, monitoring trading performance, general management and ensuring timely delivery of key projects.

You will be required to participate in financial analysis and research on opportunities as well as propositions for investment. Your remit will include maintaining relationships with key contacts and professionals. You will also be involved in managing the completion, ongoing performance and compliance of investments made in various businesses, as well as providing general support to them.

Essential skills:

Our client is seeking a vibrant individual with excellent relationship and analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret accounts. A commercial flair with a background in finance or banking is preferred. Candidate must thrive in a challenging environment with continually changing priorities and have attention to detail, strong IT skills and the ability to focus on key issues.
