Specification: |
Based in Oxfordshire, duties
include: monitoring and controlling the debt profile of
designated customer accounts through effective credit
management.
You will be responsible for chasing outstanding debtor
payments via telephone and letter on behalf of your clients;
agreeing payment plans and monitoring progress; and passing
accounts for litigation where appropriate. This is a key
role, where the credit controller can strongly influence
cash collection and aged debt profile. Through regular
contact with the customer base, you will also influence the
business relationship via effective account management and
query resolution. |

Essential skills: |
The ideal candidate will have
previous credit control or administration experience gained
within a financial organisation together with good spoken
and written communication skills, an assertive but tactful
manner, calmness under pressure and an organised and
methodical approach to work. Must be financially astute,
have good numeracy skills and have the ability to work to
strict deadlines.
