Specification: |
Based in Manchester your role will be to provide financial
advice and tied services to business banking customers
ranging from start-ups to existing businesses with turnovers
up to £2m and particular emphasis on protection and
investment products. You will operate within a highly
complex and demanding environment and spend the majority of
time dealing directly with new and existing customers to
explore current circumstances and future needs and
objectives.
You will accurately complete extensive pre-sale and
post-sale paperwork and also ensure regular, high quality
leads from lead providers (e.g. Local business managers and
business specialists through effective networking and
raising the profile of the services they offer)
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Support the local business managers and assist in the
development of less experienced financial planning advisors.
- Help resolve queries from management, staff and customers.
- Identify coaching and development needs.
- Assess operational risks and address any areas of concern
with line management or relevant department. |

Essential skills: |
You will have previous experience of financial planning
relating to protection and investment products and have a
consistently positive attitude. You will be able to remain
calm even when under heavy pressure, will be driven,
dedicated and determined to achieve and exceed goals and
customer expectations.
There are opportunities to develop good working
relationships with others and you are likely to enjoy
relating to others. As a business financial planning advisor
you will be a team player with capacity to challenge when
appropriate.
