Experienced commercial debt collector/recoveries

Specification:

This role will appeal to an experienced commercial debt collector who is looking to join an established organisation. You will be responsible for taking responsibility for delinquent debt collection from late payment through to litigation, handling insolvency and, where necessary, repossession. You will also be communicating directly with customers, intermediaries and relationship managers with the aim of minimising bad debt. The role also involves, where appropriate, repossession and remarketing of assets.

Essential skills:

You will have experience within commercial general asset debt recovery – for example gained within commercial banking, asset finance or invoice finance/factoring and will possess a strong knowledge of debt recovery litigation including in insolvency situations. You will be a strong communicator and listener, possess problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to negotiate. Experience of relevant compliance is essential. Training in asset realisations will be given if required.
