Specification: |
This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspirational
finance manager who is looking for the challenge of being
able to establish and develop a new company within an
existing successful commercial finance group. This includes
setting up and managing bookkeeping and accounting
operations, preparing financial information and
administering ledgers for the group companies as well as
developing and managing the internal audit function. The
role also includes the preparation of financial information
to deadlines, exception reporting and ensuring compliance
with external regulators. Whilst this role is initially
focused on the finance function, it also involves the
management of a growing team and operational aspects of
running a business and, ultimately, the managing
directorship of the business. |

Essential skills: |
This role will particularly appeal to candidates who possess
a financial qualification (ideally ACCA/CIMA) and who would
welcome the opportunity of taking a more entrepreneurial
approach to their role. You will be taking this new entity
of a successful commercial finance group from its early
stages through to full development. Enthusiasm, drive and
resolve are essential as is the ability to motivate a team
and be prepared to take a hands-on approach as the business
evolves.
