Job description: |
A subsidiary of a UK banking group and leading provider of
business banking and business finance facilities seeks an
auditor to join their expanding team in the invoice finance
sector.
You will be responsible for conducting full business
audits and performing due diligence on new and existing
invoice finance clients to assess the financial security and
identify potential areas of risk. All clients have borrowing
facilities with the bank which are factoring or invoice
discounting.
Audits are conducted at the clients’ premises and involve
full analysis of management accounts and business management
systems.
The candidate will ideally be based in the north Leeds
area and particular interest will be given to candidates
based in York, Harrogate, Skipton or surrounding areas. |

Essential skills: |
Previous experience in an invoice finance audit role is
preferable, as is knowledge of business lending, banking
and/or business finance.
In addition, a strong understanding of accounting and
financial analysis is essential; ACCA / ACA, AAT, CIMA or
part qualified accountants are desirable.
