Job description:

Following an internal promotion and as part of Skipton Business Finance (SBF) accelerated growth expansion programme the company now has a vacancy for the position of sales and marketing director.

This is an operational board position and with it carries the responsibility of implementing the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Skipton Building Society and benefits from the financial strength of an undoubted financial institution committed to maximising the potential of one of its star performing subsidiary businesses.

Having achieved impressive growth levels since launch in 2001 the platform is now set to grow firstly in its core region of the north of England and then to take the business model nationally.

The challenge is to double the existing client base in the next two years and the group is supportive with unprecedented levels of fiscal support during a time of increasing economic challenge. Recognising the opportunity that the market offers an organisation in such an envious position, this is both an integral and exciting opportunity for the successful applicant.

The ability to grow and lead from the front in equal measure is vital as is the ability of the individual to embrace the ambition of the parent and buy into the unique offering that SBF brings to the SME market.
