2020 sees Mark Lyons set up Mark Lyons Recruitment Limited

Mark started his career in the SME Asset Finance sector working for Capital Bank and subsequently for Experian in their financial services business development team before getting into the recruitment industry back in 2001.

He is now pleased to be able to continue to build on his past client and candidate relationships and is looking forward to building relationships with  new and exciting companies as the country starts its recovery.

Asked about the launch of his new business venture, Mark said: “ I am very pleased to announce that I have decided to launch my own recruitment business. Whilst we are still in a tough economic climate and currently in the middle of a  second lockdown, a number of vaccines on the way seems to be the light at the end of the tunnel we have all been waiting for.

“It is very interesting to see that companies are starting to talk about their future growth aspirations and change management strategies, as well as to how best to support their colleagues going through redeployment or career transition processes.

“Having worked through the last recession and subsequent recovery years, I really enjoyed getting to know the innovative new entrants to the various industry markets I have recruited into,  and to also see the existing clients who chose to buck the trend of their competitors and push for growth.  The past ten years has been such an exciting time to work in recruitment and I am sure the next 10 years will be the same.  Therefore I now feel it’s the right time to build my own business!”
