“Back to Business” empowers small businesses to excel in the new normal
Mastercard and vcita have launched Back to Business – a series of free webinars to equip entrepreneurs in the UK and across Europe with the necessary tools to operate successfully in a digital-first environment.
While companies are trying to adapt to a digital environment, many small businesses may need further support on how to move their businesses online. With that in mind, these free webinars are tailored to help small businesses discover how they can mitigate business risks and explore new opportunities to take the ‘new normal’ by storm.
Marcus O’Toole, vice president, head of small business segment at Mastercard Europe noted: “As the pandemic continues to impact the way we live and work, it is essential for small businesses to evolve to the latest innovations that can help them thrive and increase their bottom lines. For Mastercard, this means supporting these key pillars of our communities by going beyond our suite of products and services in traditional banking. It means providing them with tools to succeed in a more digital environment. To that end, we are delighted to expand our ongoing partnership with vcita to not only help small businesses survive, but to also put them on the path to thrive.”
“Working with the most creative, agile and resilient segment of our economy, small business owners, is a privilege we at vcita don’t take lightly,” said Adi Engel, CBDO at vcita. “We are incredibly proud to be providing them with critical guidance and tools for digitising business operations at this time, and we couldn’t do that without the vital backing of our partners at Mastercard, whose commitment to small businesses and digital inclusion is humbling.”
Available in four languages – English, French, German and Spanish – the webinars focus on three themes: expanding digital capabilities, customer loyalty levers, and online transaction security. The aim is to help small businesses overcome challenges, unlock new opportunities, keep customer engaged and ultimately maintain profitability in a rapidly changing market.
Additionally, the webinars will also help small businesses familiarise themselves with essential digital tools that’ll support moving online– from processing secure contactless payments, to launching impactful marketing campaigns.
There will be a total of 13 live webinar sessions across different languages, running through 17th-27th November. The webinars will be recorded and made available to watch later for those who couldn’t make it to the live sessions.
These webinars follow Mastercard and vcita’s successful launch of “Business Unusual” in April, a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and learning solution enabling micro & small companies to better manage and run their business by giving them a suite of tools that can be accessed via one single application.
