Christopher Terry, IM Mastery Academy CEO, on building momentum in the new year
For Christopher Terry, IM Mastery Academy co-founder and CEO, generating momentum is crucial to education, and the start of a new year is an ideal time to focus on building positive habits. Terry founded the Academy to provide online educational materials for individuals looking for a flexible alternative to traditional methods. And as 2022 came to a close, he took the opportunity to offer his perspective on how building momentum relates to IM Mastery Academy’s self-driven approach.
“Momentum begins with you. If you’re not focused on your vision, motivating your team, and maintaining the right attitude, you are limiting your potential,” said Terry in an Instagram post in December. “Good habits and the power of momentum can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself and your productivity in life. Incorporate daily good habits in your life and get momentum on your side to take yourself to another level.”
2022 was an eventful year for IM Mastery Academy, as Christopher Terry launched five new services: the TBX Academy for time-based intraday exchange strategies, the TLX travel and lifestyle service, the SFX Academy for stocks and futures markets, the SMX Academy for social media training, and the MMX Academy for developing a productive mindset.
Terry also embarked on a European speaking tour, traveling to over 12 different countries across the continent. The gigs were indicative of IM Mastery Academy’s global reach, and Christopher Terry is looking to build on the momentum of new academies and new members with continued expansion in 2023.
Christopher Terry and IM Mastery Academy’s 2022
Christopher Terry co-founded IM Mastery Academy with CFO Isis Terry in 2013, focusing on online financial education resources. The Academy originally offered educational materials on foreign exchange (forex) markets. It has gradually expanded in its near-decade of operations, adding academies on the digital currency market and e-commerce prior to its 2022 expansion.
But 2022 was a particularly active year in terms of the Academy’s growth, marking its entry into a number of areas outside of finance.
And in addition to expanding educational resources, IM Mastery Academy and Christopher Terry hosted several live IM Beyond events. Independent business owners, educators, and students gather at these events to share strategies, insights, and motivation, and to bolster the community of support within the Academy.
Christopher Terry is often the keynote speaker at these IM Mastery Academy events, and he reflected on the experience in another recent Instagram post.
“It was amazing going through all the different events this past year — the summer tour in Europe, events in Arizona, Zurich, Dubai, and Mexico. I literally was all over the place. Every time I am on stage and I look out into the crowd, I am reinspired to do bigger and better things. We’re going to continue to move forward, progress forward, fine-tune things, and improve in all areas.”
What’s next for IM Mastery Academy?
Christopher Terry launched IM Mastery Academy’s two newest services, SMX and MMX, in the fourth quarter of 2022, and it will look to build on the momentum of launching these new academies early in 2023.
The Academy closed the year with a 25 Days of Giving event in which it featured 25 consecutive free videos explaining each service offered, and it will continue to host events in which educators discuss the latest developments at IM Mastery Academy.
There are already three events scheduled for 2023: IM Beyond Rotterdam in the Netherlands on March 16-19; IM Elevate Orlando, Florida, on March 24-26; and IM Beyond Mexico City on April 21-23.
As the events approach, Christopher Terry’s IM Mastery Academy continues to grow, and Terry is optimistic about the year ahead.
