Leonard Curtis puts relationships first with key hire in funding team
Leonard Curtis has appointed a relationship manager to its growing debt advisory team as the brand continues to enrich its funding services offering in 2023.
Sarah Gaskin – who has almost a decade of experience in client relations – has taken up the post and will offer personalised assistance with attrition and client management goals.
With a relationship manager just a phone call away, Client managers in the North West will be able to contact a dedicated adviser for expert care and qualified support to solve a wide range of issues they may be facing within their portfolio and client book.
Sarah has worked at Leonard Curtis with the Lifecycle network business development team since 2020 – drawing on professional services and finance experience acquired from her early career in management.
As part of the debt advisory team, she will be working alongside associate director Ric Miller – a highly respected figure in the lending community – on creating and strengthening relationships with asset-based lenders and other funders.
Through a programme of educational presentations, events and 1:1 meetings, Sarah will raise awareness around the Leonard Curtis multidisciplinary offering to funders including HMRC ‘Time to Pay’ arrangements, cash flow management and business health checks.
Sarah has also set up a successful Young Professionals Network group in Manchester – providing a space for like-minded people to exchange business experiences, grow networks, and make contacts within the funding space.
Sarah stated: “I am delighted to move into this position and work with Ric Miller, Gary Cain and the wider debt advisory team on reinforcing the Leonard Curtis message within the funder market.
“As a relationship manager I can continue to work with our clients on resolving all manner of problems and provide guidance and advice for them wherever they need.”
Ric Miller added: “Sarah has an excellent understanding of the group model and brings energy and enthusiasm to the team.
“Developing relationships at all levels with funder teams is a pivotal strand to our plan and we look forward to further adding value in the way we advise and support this market.”
