My experience of buying a used Gucci handbag – Sehabags review
Luxury bags aren’t just for the people who bought them at full price because of how long they last. However, not everyone can buy a Gucci that’s used simply because there are so many variables that go into getting a used bag that I’ve usually steered clear of getting one for myself, but knowing that I could literally buy two for the price of one at full price just made me want to try it out for myself.
With it, I landed on Sehabags.
Now, there are lots of different reselling platforms out there, but I hadn’t really heard any positive reviews of any of them when it came to bags, especially luxury bags. There’s so much that can go wrong here, so I chose to go with the one platform that seemed the most legit out of all the others.
Despite that, there were things that I was afraid would go wrong, so I documented my entire journey, and let’s just say I was very surprised by the way things turned out!

Buying a used Gucci handbag – Sehabags review
For the past year, I’ve been saving up to get a Gucci Aria Marmont Mini Shoulder Bag, but I couldn’t find the right one anywhere. So when I hit up Sehabags, I was extremely pleased to see that they had the exact bag I wanted!
Not only that, but the entire website was full of other bags that were potential replacements for the one I wanted too. While I was on the hunt for just the Aria mini, there was a small part of me that would consider getting two bags, so let’s just say I spent hours scrolling through the site looking at all of the options.
What’s great about this is that even if you don’t have a specific bag in mind but know the general type of bag you’d want, you might still be able to find the right one for yourself fairly easily because of the sheer amount of choices there are!
In terms of choices, I’d totally give them a 10/10!
But all those choices would be wasted if the listings wouldn’t work out for me, and since I had found the bag of my dreams listed right there on the front page, it was as if it were calling to me, so I took a deep breath and clicked on it, hoping and praying that the bag is in acceptable condition so I can finally get my hands on it.
When the listing opened, it pretty much took my breath away.
They had several detailed pictures of the bag included in the listing. So it wasn’t just a little “prop the bag, so it looks just right” type of deal. It was every single side. Every single zipper and thread was accounted for. What was even better was that they even showed the inside of the bag so you could really see the amount of use it went through before it was put up for sale.
Everything was so detailed that it seemed like someone was just showing me the bag through a glass wall.
That wasn’t it, though; what blew me away was the fact that the bag literally looked brand new but didn’t have the brand new price tag attached to it. I found that shocking because everywhere else I looked, if a bag looked “almost new,” it would be sold at a listing price that was almost the same as buying them for full price, so I was amazed by the price to condition ratio there.
Their bags are checked by professionals that make sure that everything is in order before they put it up on the site, so that’s a blanket of security right there, which most platforms honestly don’t even bother with.
If the “unbelievable” of it all wasn’t already crazy, add to it the fact that this particular bag still had a box and a dustbag with it, along with the certificate of authenticity and the receipt too!
I reached out to the customer service agent to clear out some of the concerns I had about the bag’s shipping process and everything, and they were extremely helpful, which was just an added plus here. It also helped put my mind at ease too because it showed that I was in business with people that were actually responsive, so if something were to go wrong, there would be someone on the other side that’ll actually respond to my questions, which is a pretty big concern for me whenever I’m buying anything online.
Then came the shipping process. I’m used to ordering something and then waiting 800 years by the window for it to show up on my doorstep. But I was shocked to see that they were shipping my bag right away, and I literally received it overnight through the Royal Mail Special Delivery!
It was as if I had sent someone to the store to get it for me!
Within a day of me finding the bag online on Sehabags, I had it in my hands. It was an experience I honestly wasn’t expecting. I went into the whole thing thinking that everything I saw, from the condition of the bag to the price, was all too good to be true, but it actually ended up being a reality. Everything went so smoothly that I will definitely be ordering more from the site in the future!
