New Business Executive – Warrington
Role overview
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are:
- Liaising on a business-to-business level, via telephone and email, to gain new hard asset business on direct only basis
- Canvassing leads for referral to the Head of Hard Asset for larger, more complex or ABL opportunities
- Initial few months in role focused on high volume outbound telesales prospecting as well as loading and processing proposals for the broker stream
- Phased transition into an account management position as the focus shifts to the retention and development of direct clients
- Target driven role, daily, weekly & monthly review of KPI’s
- Professional development with a view to transition to a Business Development Manager role if desired
Skills
- Professional, friendly and approachable attitude
- Proven experience in telesales or other sales/customer service role
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to be assertive if necessary
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload under pressure
- High attention to detail
Experience
2+ years outbound sales experience
3+ years’ experience within financial services industry
