Robert Fowler joins HW Fisher as head of music royalty audits
HW Fisher, the top 25 UK chartered accountancy firm has bolstered its specialist forensic accounting team with the appointment of Robert Fowler in his new role as head of music royalty audits.
Robert has 30 years of experience in the music industry, first working in the royalty departments of major record labels and, for the last 20 years, as a specialist in royalty audit.
Robert’s experience includes working globally with high profile recording artists and songwriters including those in Europe, the USA, Russia, and China. He has also conducted audits on behalf of record labels and music publishers for distribution, sub-publishing, and licensing agreements. More recently, his work has included the market valuation of music catalogues.
Robert’s primary role within the firm will be to help expand HW Fisher’s music royalty audit offering, a sector that has increased in demand this year, as touring income has declined for the industry.
