The NACFB Road Map is on target
The NACFB is on schedule to meet the ambitious expansion plans shared with our membership in our Road Map at the start of the year.
The association aims to offer its members everything they will need for a compliant and prosperous business. To do this, we need to take on additional manpower and we also need the office space to accommodate this expansion.
Now the NACFB is advertising for a personal assistant and an office manager, with the intention of having both roles filled ahead of our go-live date of July 1st.
The association has also visited 15 possible new office spaces in and around the City of London. The impression we have been given is that it is currently a difficult market, which has allowed us to consider some really “different” locations, while remaining committed to staying on our budgetary track for 2016.
There is the opportunity to expand within our current offices at Hamilton House, but that may require capital costs for some upgrade work. It is a suitable time to move on to the next phase, the fourth I believe for the association, as we move forward and keep pace with the market. Our members will see further evidence of that growth in the products and services we will be offering in the second half of 2016 and through 2017 as well.
The NACFB now works with the direct support of over 1600 individual brokers and 141 lenders and funders to business, so the weight of numbers can push us to realise more challenging goals.
There is much more to this story than simply a handful of new staff members and a change of address. 2016 will see the biggest changes of any year in the association’s history. The momentum from the last eight years is now being converted into a step change in terms of how much our members can expect us to do for them.
If you are interested in becoming part of this exciting expansion at the NACFB, then please contact us to find out about these and other roles that will become available.
Finally, you are all welcome to attend our Commercial Finance Expo (CFE) free of charge on 15 June to hear the full details.
