UK Finance responds to the publication of the Payments Strategy Forum’s Blueprint document

“Today’s Blueprint consultation provides an update on the initiatives developed to improve trust in payments and ensure the UK maintains a world class payments system that is both agile and responsive. UK Finance’s members look forward to playing a key role in making these initiatives a reality; enhancing the sharing of financial crime data and intelligence, and continuing our work to increase customer education and awareness on fraud and financial crime.
“We will also engage with the breadth of our membership to provide a considered and constructive response to aid the progression of the initiatives under consultation, including the New Payments Architecture and other payments services designed to strengthen customers’ experiences. These are prime examples of where collaboration across the industry can deliver exceptional results for the UK as a whole.”
