UK200Group member comments on the start of Export Week
A member of the UK200Group of independent accountancy and law firms has commented on news that today marks the start of UK Trade & Investment’s (UKTI’s) Export Week. Throughout the week there will be a variety of events that are aimed at businesses to either start exporting or increase their international business. Previous Export Weeks have seen over 27,000 companies in the UK attend exporting focused events.
Duncan Montgomery, tax partner, UK200Group member firm Whittingham Riddell, said: “UKTI has put together a set of events that could have long term impact on business. The quality of the events and depth of the speakers gives strong encouragement that more exports are available. We work with businesses who are very clear just how much the UKTI programme has helped them, and we would encourage anyone with a mind for moving in an international dimension to look at what events are available in their area and others.”
