When employees apply for a job, they’re not just doing it for the money. They’re also doing it for the opportunity to grow and learn, so they can eventually branch off on their own. A job where they’re ringing up cash registers or stocking shelves do help broaden their management skills, but they have very little lasting power. Your employees need work that allows them to learn more.
