Melanie Reed appointed head of advisory in Moore Kingston Smith’s senior leadership team
Moore Kingston Smith, a leading multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm, has appointed Melanie Reed as Head of Advisory, within its senior leadership team. The new role will further enhance the client experience through Melanie’s focus on consistently delivering streamlined, tailored, joined-up professional advice.
Melanie will lead the integration and cohesive delivery of the firm’s diverse advisory offerings, including corporate finance, legal, restructuring and insolvency, wealth management, forensics, valuations, HR consultancy, business growth and cyber security services. She also continues to specialise in providing M&A tax advice, particularly for clients in the media sector.
Melanie brings over two decades’ experience to this role. Beginning her career in tax at 18, Melanie went on to spend 12 years at Grant Thornton before leading the national corporate tax practice at RSM. Having joined Moore Kingston Smith in 2021, her extensive background in top ten firms and her collaborative work with diverse teams provide her with a deep understanding of the professional services landscape.
Her appointment to the senior leadership team bolsters the firm’s strategic focus. Known for her collaborative nature, Melanie’s leadership style is rooted in her ability to understand and motivate people.
