Peaceful Profits helps entrepreneurs publish books that grow their business
From its headquarters in Seattle, Peaceful Profits helps coaches, consultants, and other service-based professionals do something many have only ever dreamed of: publish a book that not only shares their ideas but also generates new leads and drives business growth. Here, publishing isn’t seen as the result, but as a tool for building long-term authority.
The company offers more than ghostwriting, managing every stage of the publishing process from the initial concept to the final launch. That includes editing, design, formatting, audiobook production, and tailored marketing strategies meant to keep books visible on major platforms like Amazon and Audible.
Clients can choose how involved they want to be. Some choose to work closely with the team, while others prefer to move at their own pace through self-guided programs based on the same systems the team uses internally.
Combining storytelling with the principles of sales psychology, Peaceful Profits creates books that not only resonate with readers but also deliver tangible growth for the businesses behind them.
Entrepreneurs who turned their books into business assets
Peaceful Profits reviews highlight the success of a wide-ranging client base, including startup coaches, New York Times bestselling authors, and 8-figure course creators.
- Kris Jones worked with Peaceful Profits to refine her messaging and align her book with her business goals. With guidance from the team, she launched her book and quickly saw results. Within 90 days, she was closing nearly every discovery call and earning over six figures in new revenue.
- Emmy Sobieski worked with the team to organize her ideas and develop a stronger brand framework. For her, publishing helped her ensure her messaging matched what her business offers.
- Another client, Mike Fink, saw an opportunity to strengthen his credibility by partnering with the company. They helped him publish a book that established him as a trusted expert in his field.
At Peaceful Profits, wins like these are shared across the team. Whether an author lands a major client, gains national press, or hits a bestseller list, the whole company celebrates together, because every success is the result of collaboration.
How a self-taught copywriter built a values-driven brand
Before founding Peaceful Profits, Mike Shreeve built his career as a freelance copywriter and agency owner, helping entrepreneurs, coaches, and consultants grow their businesses. Over the years, he worked behind the scenes with multiple New York Times bestselling authors, supporting their book launches, developing new titles, and promoting their coaching programs and courses. Drawing on this experience, Mike wrote a 68-page book to market his own coaching business, which helped scale it to seven figures.
For Mike Shreeve, Peaceful Profits became a way to channel that knowledge into a focused mission – a business that prioritized clarity and sustainable growth while achieving real results. He believes that “whoever can get the most exposure becomes number one,” and that books can be the vehicle to make that exposure happen. Through Peaceful Profits, he built a model that allows people to scale without sacrifice to help clients “scale a business while staying sane, ethical, and fulfilled.”
Seeking greater impact, Shreeve narrowed the business to specialize in a single, powerful offering: helping experts write, launch, and sell their books. The focus paid off. “Once Peaceful Profits made the decision to focus solely on helping experts write, launch, and sell their books, things started to fall into place,” he said. “It gave us a clear purpose and allowed us to go all in on doing one thing really, really well.”
Three flexible paths for getting your book published
Not everyone wants the same level of involvement when it comes to writing a book. Peaceful Profits offers three service tiers, each designed to meet clients where they are.
The Done-For-You program is the most hands-off option, perfect for those who want to delegate the entire publishing process. The team handles everything, from ghostwriting and editing to audiobook production and marketing strategy. At the end, the client receives a finished book written in their voice, designed to support their unique business objectives.
The Done-With-You model is more collaborative, allowing clients to do the writing themselves while still receiving expert assistance throughout the process. It supports those who want to remain creatively involved while having access to professional guidance as needed.
Those who choose the third option, Do-It-Yourself, are given everything they need to manage the process on their own, including training materials, templates, and detailed checklists. It’s designed for people who want structure and guidance, but prefer to stay hands-on and retain their sense of independence.
No matter which direction a client goes, the goal is always to create a book that helps grow their business and continues to bring value long after it’s finished.
Scaling back to move forward
In 2024, what started as a period of growth became one of the most challenging periods in Peaceful Profits’ history. The company had expanded too fast, made some hiring mistakes, and taken on more work than they could keep up with. Eventually, the cracks began to show, both internally and operationally.
Rather than let the momentum collapse under its own weight, the Core Team pulled together. They showed up for each other, for the company, and for the clients who had placed their trust in them. Instead of continuing to push forward at an unsustainable pace, the team decided to reset.
That meant returning to the values Peaceful Profits was founded on—simplicity, honesty, freedom, and long-term thinking. Those values had always guided how the company served its clients, with a focus on creating systems that reduced stress and gave them more time to do the work they love. Now, those same principles would determine how the team worked internally as well.
The company restructured roles, clarified responsibilities, and focused on creating a work environment that took pressure away rather than added to it. Gimmicks and quick wins were set aside in favor of long-term stability, both for the team and the people they serve.
Peaceful Profits emerged from that difficult time more aligned and equipped to help its clients grow without burning out. The team is proud of where the company stands today, and even more excited for what’s ahead.
A global team united by a shared purpose
Peaceful Profits operates without a central office. Its team is fully remote, with members working from different countries and bringing a variety of skills, experiences, and perspectives. Hiring decisions are based on character and skill, not location or background alone.
This hiring strategy has helped create a team that’s both diverse and closely connected. Department leads are trusted to manage their own areas of the business, make decisions, and support their teams with autonomy. Across the company, team members are encouraged to improve systems, explore new ideas, and find more effective ways to serve both clients and one another.
Beyond making life easier for its teams, Peaceful Profits fosters a calm work environment without constant emergencies or late-night messages. “Peaceful” isn’t just part of the name—it’s how the company strives to operate, encouraging team members to enjoy their work and maintain a life outside of it.
While Peaceful Profits hasn’t formally established a giving program, it has contributed to causes related to mental health, education, and entrepreneurship in the past. Founder Michael Shreeve also remains involved with Mercy Without Limits, a nonprofit supporting orphans that he has personally backed for years. As the business continues to grow, the team hopes to make charitable giving a more regular part of its mission.
The company is also focused on expanding access to publishing, especially for underserved voices who often face barriers in traditional publishing.
Where outcomes outweigh revenue
At Peaceful Profits, success is measured by how well clients reach their goals. That might mean selling books, attracting clients who are the right fit, or feeling less overwhelmed and more in control of their business operations. These outcomes guide each project to create something sustainable and meaningful.
Internally, the team looks at how strong its relationships are, how well its systems are performing, and whether people feel proud of the work they’re doing. While revenue is part of the picture, how that revenue is earned—and whether it reflects the company’s beliefs—matters much more.
As Peaceful Profits continues expanding, this values-driven definition of success allows them to stay focused on helping their clients build businesses that are both profitable and peaceful.
