DF Capital sponsors Women in Marine Day and Trade Tuesday at the 2025 Southampton International Boat Show
DF Capital is once again sponsoring two key events at the 2025 Southampton International Boat Show, Trade Tuesday and Women in Marine, demonstrating the bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting the UK marine industry.
As a specialist bank, DF Capital provides tailored finance solutions to manufacturers, dealers, and distributors. The bank helps marine businesses manage seasonality, supply chain pressures, and growth by unlocking cash flow and supporting inventory cycles.
DF Capital partners with over 70 marine businesses, and in 2024 provided £188m in funding to help them navigate growth, boost sales, and capitalise on new opportunities. Through tailored solutions across the supply chain, DF Capital is helping dealers increase stock levels and drive sales, while supporting manufacturers and distributors with production funding and floorplan facilities for their dealer networks. The company also provides specialist finance for boat hire fleets and structured funding for inventory, acquisitions, and strategic growth. With facilities available for vessels valued up to £10m, DF Capital enables faster stock turnover, stronger dealer performance, and the expansion of UK dealer networks, reinforcing the company’s position as a key partner in the UK’s marine industry.
Trade Tuesday facilitates networking and knowledge sharing among marine professionals. Ryan Manning, relationship development manager at DF Capital, will be opening the day. Since joining DF Capital in 2022, Ryan has become a specialist in marine sector funding and works with brands such as Arksen, Sunseeker, Argo and Highfield. Trade Tuesday aligns with Ryan’s commitment to supporting the growth of marine businesses through collaborative, tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.

Women in Marine (WIM) promotes greater diversity and future leadership in the sector. Angela Goulding, DF Capital’s managing director of Powersports, will introduce the event and join the audience for the WIM discussion. With over 10 years’ experience in marine sector funding, Angela is a proud champion of diversity in the sector and looks forward to welcoming a diverse group of talented women to what will no doubt once again be a lively and thought-provoking debate.
DF Capital is proud to champion the UK marine industry. Our continued presence at the show reflects our commitment to building a stronger, more diverse marine sector, and to helping the businesses within it grow.
Speaking ahead of the event, Goulding said: “This sponsorship reflects DF Capital’s belief in a thriving, inclusive marine industry. The bank is focused not only on delivering flexible funding, but also on ensuring that all businesses, from SMEs to established brands, have access to the support and visibility they need to succeed.”
