International Business Association: A new generation of professional community
Interview with Rostyslav Vovk, CEO and co-owner of Kormotech, member of the International Business Association
Mr. Rostyslav, today the International Business Association (IBA) is considered one of the most prestigious professional communities, bringing together leaders in business, science, culture, and technology. How would you describe the mission of this organization in the new economic reality?
The new reality in the development of industries means new requirements for leadership and partnership.
In today’s global economy, no entrepreneur or expert can succeed without partnership and mutual support. That is why the IBA has become a platform for those who strive not only for their own success, but also for systemic changes in the business environment and the industry as a whole.
There are many business associations and unions around the world. What makes IBA unique? How does it differ from ordinary interest clubs or industry associations?
The essence of the IBA is to bring people together to achieve results that cannot be achieved alone.
The IBA is an international non-profit organization that brings together entrepreneurs, scientists, innovators, artists, and thought leaders from different countries.
According to its charter, the main goal of the IBA is to form a sustainable professional community and create a modern elite in the fields of economics, science, culture, art, and education. The IBA helps its members develop, exchange experiences, and implement innovations that change entire industries.
But the main strength of the IBA lies in cooperation — when top professionals support each other and share experience.
The IBA declares that it works not only with entrepreneurs, but also with representatives of science, art, sports, and education. How is it possible to combine such different industries into a single effective community?
The association actively participates in:
- Developing analytical and strategic recommendations for economic, scientific, artistic, and sports development.
- Creating dialogue between business, government, science, education, and cultural institutions, which promotes decision-making based on expert knowledge and cooperation.
- Implementing standards of transparency, sustainable management, corporate ethics, and bringing together industry leaders and top experts.
- Supporting innovative technological solutions and startups.
IBA is a community where different industries, approaches, and cultures complement each other, creating a space for trust, partnership, and professional development.
Many people perceive such international associations as merely a platform for networking. However, in your description, the IBA sounds like an institution with a deeper purpose—development, education, investment. What is the real value of membership for participants?
IBA is more than just a network of contacts. The IBA offers its members practical development tools, including:
- participation in international forums, conferences, and panel discussions;
- a platform for finding investors, partners, and new markets;
- mentoring support for young entrepreneurs and startups;
- a digital knowledge base populated by experts from various fields.
The IBA strives for professional growth, where each participant has real opportunities to influence global processes.
Membership in the IBA is a sign of high professional status. What criteria must be met to become part of this community, and how difficult is the selection process?
IBA members can be representatives of business, science, culture, technology, sports, and education — recognized leaders who are at the top of their fields and have significant professional achievements at the national or international level.
According to the Membership Rules, candidates undergo an expert evaluation by three independent specialists, an online interview, and a vote by the Association Council.
This approach guarantees the impartiality and high professional level of all participants.
This is a community of people who prove their leadership qualities not with words, but with deeds.
You mention that the IBA consists only of recognized leaders — those who are at the top of their industries. What added value does bringing such professionals together provide? Is it the exchange of experience, joint projects, or perhaps a common position at the international level?
The IBA is an organization of trust, partnership, and influence that brings together people at the top of their professional fields.
Our members are company executives, scientists, artists, innovators, entrepreneurs, athletes — those who have not only achieved high results, but also set standards in their fields and set the direction for others to follow.
The IBA creates an environment where top professionals unite resources and vision to implement cross-sector initiatives and innovations.
When leaders act together, they shape the society of the future.
At the IBA, we help these processes take place systematically, transparently, and professionally — at a level that meets international standards.
