UK Black Business Entrepreneurs Conference marks 5th anniversary with stellar speaker line-up
The UK Black Business Entrepreneurs Conference (BBEC) today announced the initial roster of speakers for its fifth-anniversary event, scheduled for Wednesday, 8 July 2026. Under the theme “Innovation, Technology and Doing Business Globally,” the conference will convene at the NatWest Conference Centre, 250 Bishopsgate, gathering a distinguished assembly of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. The event aims to celebrate, empower, and inspire the next generation of Black British business talent, with representatives from the public, private, and third sectors in attendance.
This milestone event will feature a formidable line-up of keynote speakers, including:
- Sir Sam Jonah, the celebrated business magnate who transformed Ashanti Goldfields into a multinational corporation
- Lord Michael Hastings, a prominent figure in business, education, and social impact
- David Olusoga, the BAFTA-winning historian, broadcaster, and filmmaker
- Brenda Emmanus OBE, a leading voice in arts and culture broadcasting
- Carol Glenn, founder of the first Black-owned racing team in the UK
These globally renowned figures will be joined by a host of influential industry leaders and rising stars, such as Danny Manu, Henry Bonsu, president Daryl Williams of Hampton University (the first HBCU to partner with the BBEC), AI experts and finance experts Effie Kanyua and Emmanuel Asiku, and Dr David Gyimah.
