Azets takes on new partner for Kent-wide role
UK top 10 accountancy firm Azets has appointed a new private client tax partner operating in a Kent-wide role as business demand continues to grow.

Nicola MacAulay has joined from a private client director role at S&W – rebranded after a sale from Evelyn Partners – following a long stint at Creaseys in Tunbridge Wells.
She is based in the Maidstone office of Azets, the UK’s specialist business advisor to SMEs, although her strategic role remit covers the whole of the county.
Nicola provides advisory and compliance services and advises on all areas of personal taxation, including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
She said: “I am gratified to have been appointed by such a forward-looking and proactive firm as Azets. It’s an exciting new challenge for me and I was inspired by the firm’s culture and how the business operates.
“I am trusted by clients – primarily individuals who have generated their wealth through entrepreneurship, private equity or land sales – to provide them with sound practical advice tailored to their personal circumstances, taking into account the tax implications.”
Nicola, who became a member of the Institute of Leadership last year, added: “I take time to understand the way my clients operate and their approach to life so I can anticipate their individual needs – to ensure advice is appropriate as well as being technically correct.
“I enable my clients to get on with their everyday lives in the knowledge that their affairs and reporting requirements are taken care of professionally, and I help guide them through the often difficult decisions that need to be made in life.”
Eddi Taylor, Azets’ regional managing partner in the South East, said: “Nicola is an exceptional operator whose knowledge in the private client tax space is second to none.
“She has a proven track record of building trusted relationships and delivering clear, practical advice to the individuals she supports.
“We are delighted to welcome Nicola to the team and are excited about the expertise and energy she brings to our growing Kent practice.”
