Fraser Real Estate expands recovery/restructuring team post MBO with major appointment
Specialist corporate and recovery adviser Fraser Real Estate (Fraser RE) has expanded further, bringing in Victoria Liddell as senior director in Recovery & Restructuring.
Victoria (Tor) has joined from Allsop where she led the Recoveries business since 2017. Tor is a fixed charge receiver with 20 years’ experience working with most of the major banks and lenders across the UK.
Tor will work with Fraser RE’s market leading team led by Joe Pitt and senior directors James Davies and Ewan Mackie who have worked together for over 20 years. Together, the team are the leading receivers in the industry with a combined track record of over 100 years and in the last 12 months alone they have seen their instructions soar 33% from traditional and challenger banks, not including the work that Tor brings to the business.
All of the R&R team are partners and registered receivership practitioners, which is unique in the sector. Tor’s appointment underpins the team’s commitment to its director led approach, ensuring clients get the level service its reputation has been built on.
In the last two years, Fraser RE has gone from strength to strength. In late 2024, the leadership team agreed a management buyout (MBO), taking full ownership of the future of the business from previous shareholder/owner Alexander Anton, who founded and successfully ran the business for 25 years. The ownership team comprises Tim Malthouse, Joe Pitt, Chris Wright, James Davies and Ewan Mackie – all of whom have worked together for decades, originally joining forces at BNP Paribas Real Estate, which they left between 2015-2017.
Earlier this year, Fraser RE also appointed Chris Ramsden as a senior director – another BNP Paribas Real Estate former team member who had spent the last 10 years at Montague Evans. Both Chris and Tor will have the opportunity to join the ownership of the business, which is looking to grow further to cement its leadership position across the unique and technical corporate solutions and recovery disciplines.
