Together appoints group head of strategy to support transformation and growth plans
Specialist lender Together has appointed Rachel East into the new role of group head of strategy reporting into chief strategy officer, Russell Anderson who joined the business in May.
Rachel joins to support Russell in leading the development and execution of the Group’s strategy, focusing on growth, transformation and strengthening key partnerships across the market.

Starting with the business on 15 June, Rachel brings twenty years’ experience in the financial services sector having held senior positions at Key, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander and HFC Bank. In her prior role Rachel oversaw the delivery of efficiencies in regulated later life lending helping customers plan a better retirement. She is a certified member of the Equity Release Council with a track record seeing her recognised as Woman of the Year at the Financial Reporter’s 2022 Awards.
Russell said: “We are delighted to welcome Rachel to the newly formed Strategy team. Rachel’s in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and her specialism in later life lending is invaluable to Together’s plans to drive growth in key territories. Working directly with me Rachel will help unlock new routes to market as we support more customers in achieving their property goals.”
