Navigate Commercial Finance welcomes a new commercial director
One of Birmingham’s leading SME brokers, Navigate Commercial Finance has appointed Ben Hayward as commercial director and shareholder.
Ben’s appointment to the board, reinforces Navigate Commercial Finance’s commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Midlands. Bringing over 19 years’ experience in financial services, Ben has held senior roles most recently at Shire Invoice Finance, where he worked for over 12 years and was managing director, as well as Aldermore, and RBS Invoice Finance. With a strong track record in Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending, Ben’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to further enhance Navigate Commercial Finance’s commercial offering.

In his role at Navigate Commercial Finance, Ben will work closely with Paul Varley to take Navigate Commercial Finance to its next stage of growth. The firm will continue to focus on supporting businesses across the Midlands and UK to access alternative finance solutions. Ben brings his skills of working with the intermediary market which will complement and enhance the team’s position in helping business owners, professional advisors, and strategic partners to source the most appropriate commercial finance to support their working capital needs. Using a network of specialist, pragmatic lenders, the team deliver funding solutions that include invoice finance, asset-based lending, revolving credit facilities and cashflow loans.
