Reward Funding strengthens London & SE team with senior promotion
Reward Funding has strengthened its London and South East team by promoting Tom Annetts to business development director, with responsibility for driving growth across the Thames Valley. The move reflects the lender’s continued investment in supporting SMEs and property professionals in one of the UK’s most dynamic regional markets.
Drawing on his experience in portfolio management, Tom brings a deep understanding of the challenges businesses face throughout the funding journey. Within the team, Tom is focused on growing Reward’s presence across the Thames Valley, unlocking the region’s business potential and delivering Reward’s unique relationship-led approach. His end-to-end perspective enhances the client experience and supports the delivery of consistently high levels of service.
Tom’s new role also reflects Reward’s growth, regional ambitions and investment in the Thames Valley. The area is a hot spot for property development and, despite pressures in the housing market in recent years, the Thames Valley has shown high levels of resilience.
Commenting on the new position, Tom said: “I’ve been with the Reward team for a number of years now, and the job is still as exciting as it was on day one. Reward’s reputation is industry leading, and it is known for being agile, relationship-led and genuinely committed to supporting SMEs across the country.”
“I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running with this new role and building our presence across the Thames Valley and wider South East region. There’s a lot of businesses out there needing funding flexibility at the moment. Even with the current economic uncertainty, opportunities still exist and funding to bridge gaps are needed. The Reward team and I are here and ready to support businesses that want to grow.”

Simon Adcock, regional director for London and the South East at Reward, added: “The Thames Valley remains a hugely important region for ambitious SMEs and property professionals. Tom’s promotion ensures we continue to invest in local relationships and regional expertise as demand for flexible funding continues to grow.”
Tom’s career progression is part of a series of senior hires and internal moves, marking the next step in Reward’s ongoing strategy to expand its regional footprint and back more businesses in times of uncertainty and opportunity.
