Newland achieves Worldpay certification for unattended Android terminals
Newland Payment Technology (NPT), a global provider of payment terminals and technology solutions, has strengthened its unattended payment capabilities in North America through Worldpay Express certification.
The certification covers PayExplorer, Newland’s payment acceptance application running across its Android-based unattended terminal portfolio, including the U2000 and U200 unattended payment terminals.
The certification gives independent software vendors (ISVs), independent sales organisations (ISOs), integrators and payment partners a certified foundation on which to build and deploy self-service payment solutions within the Worldpay ecosystem. By integrating their software with Newland’s certified payment stack, partners can reduce the technical and operational effort required to bring unattended solutions to market, allowing them to focus on their own software capabilities, customer experiences and business offerings.
The solution supports a wide range of self-service environments. Designed for both indoor and outdoor deployments, Newland’s Android unattended terminals provide partners with a consistent payment foundation to support different unattended use cases.

The certification builds on the existing relationship between Newland and Worldpay. It also expands Newland’s certified payment ecosystem in North America, following previous processor certifications with TSYS and Fiserv.
