214-place day nursery portfolio in Greater London and Kent changes hands
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Super Start Nurseries, a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated group of three day nurseries in Greater London and Kent.
Super Start Nurseries is a three-setting day nursery group founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife duo, Sheonalli and Hemant Malhotra. Over the last 13 years, Super Start Nurseries has established an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality childcare across three purpose-built settings with a combined operating capacity of 214 places for children aged nought to five years. The portfolio was founded in 2013 and consists of The Cottage on Lower Station Road in Crayford, The Chapel on Constance Grove in Dartford, and The Pickford on Pickford Lane in Bexleyheath.
The settings benefit from excellent transport links, strong local demand from working families, and a centralised support structure that enables efficient recruitment, staffing, and operational management. The group also features extensive outdoor learning environments, including dedicated forest school provision and secure outdoor play areas at each setting.
The former owners, Sheonalli and Hemant, decided to bring the businesses to market to explore other business interests.
Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the settings have been acquired by Kids Planet Day Nurseries, which now operates over 300 nursery settings across the UK.

Super Start Nurseries was sold for an undisclosed price.
