IGF announces financial results for the year ended 31 March 2026
Independent Growth Finance (IGF), a leading provider of tailored asset-based lending (ABL) solutions for UK SMEs and mid-market businesses, has reported financial results for the financial year ended 31st March 2026.
IGF are also delighted to announce an extension of the senior bank facilities, providing a strong platform for future growth, enabling both new and existing clients to succeed financially by supporting their business plans.
The annual financial results include a record origination performance of £137m of new facilities underwritten in the period, supporting acquisitions, management buyouts, turnarounds and assisting the growth ambitions of new clients and their owners, sponsors and management teams.
On the back of this excellent origination performance, and with our continuing strong record of client support, retention and risk management, we are happy to report a Profit Before Tax of £10.1m. These financial results underline the strength of the Group’s growth trajectory and earnings capability, which is noteworthy given the backdrop of macro-economic uncertainty, continued elevated interest rates and geopolitical tension. As a further indication of financial robustness, total net assets further increased to an all-time high of £64m.
Since the close of the financial year, IGF has set a record by closing 10 new deals with £77m of aggregate facilities during the first quarter of the new financial year.

Steve Chait, CEO commented: “I am delighted to announce another excellent set of results for IGF. Our performance of sustained profitability over the years reflects the stability of the strong foundations that we have built since inception. I am also grateful for the support of our banking syndicate and the work they have done to amend and extend our senior banking facilities. Our record-setting origination performance of last year, which has continued into the first quarter of this financial year, reflects our ongoing commitment to provide attractive financing solutions to UK SMEs and mid-market firms. These results would not have been possible without the strong support of our shareholders, our banks and, most importantly, the fantastic team that we have in place at IGF. These results continue to allow us to position ourselves as the UK’s leading independent provider of invoice finance and asset-based lending solutions for SMEs and mid-market corporates.”
