S&W appoints partner to lead new financial services deal advisory team
S&W, the leading professional services group, has appointed Tom Lewin, as a partner in its growing advisory team to launch and lead the financial services deal advisory team as part of the firm’s existing corporate finance offering.
Tom was most recently a managing director at Investec Bank plc, where he established their financial services and fintech M&A team. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, with extensive M&A and capital markets advisory experience, including public and private M&A, strategic advisory, restructurings, equity raising (IPOs and rights issues), and hybrid capital issuance.
Tom works with public and private companies and private equity funds across financial services and adjacent sectors, with a focus on growth and tech-enabled companies.
Tom has also been a partner at a Big 4 accounting firm, helping to develop their financial services advisory business. Additionally, Tom has worked in the financial services M&A teams at Barclays Bank plc and Rothschild & Co. Based in S&W’s London office, Tom will develop the financial services advisory proposition over the coming months, bringing his extensive financial services experience to existing and new clients.
