Atom bank reduces commercial mortgage fixed rates
Atom bank, the UK’s highest rated mortgage lender on Trustpilot, has reduced rates by 0.25% across its fixed rate standard commercial mortgage range.
Effective immediately, rates for new applications on commercial investment cases now start at 5.88%, while for commercial owner-occupied cases, rates begin at 5.68%, based on cases at 45% LTV or lower.
A further 0.25% rate reduction is available on all cases of between £1m and £4m.
This reduction has been made following broker feedback, and ensures Atom bank provides business borrowers with great value funding. Atom bank has repeatedly enhanced its commercial proposition this year, having previously reduced rates for commercial investment borrowers as well as introducing a simplified stressed interest rate.
Delivering for business borrowers
As a result of improvements to Atom bank’s processes, borrowers enjoy rapid access to funding. So far in 2025, Agreement in Principles have been issued within an average of one working day following the receipt of a fully packaged application. Once this has been accepted, offers are delivered within an average of six working days.
Business borrowers enjoy bespoke pricing with Atom bank, with a personalised rate calculated based on the individual circumstances of the borrower. Brokers can provide an indication of potential costs through the Quick Quote tool, available on the Atom bank portal, before proceeding to making a full application.
