Luxury nursing home business goes from strength to strength thanks to funding from Cynergy Bank
Luxury care home provider Country Court is set to continue its growth proposition, and refinance two of its current homes, thanks to a £36m five-year investment loan from Cynergy Bank.
Founded in Peterborough in 1983, Country Court provides luxury residential care and nursing homes. The first home opened in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, with the company now operating over 50 homes with thousands of employees across the UK.
The new funding from Cynergy Bank will enable Country Court to refinance two new-build care homes in Halesowen and Thirsk, providing high quality care facilities to the local community. It will also support the acquisition of Moat House Care Home and The Grange Care Home in Essex that the group previously operated via a lease.
Country Court has expanded considerably over the last few years. This deal will help finance its ambitious expansion plans moving forward.
Al-Karim Kachra Co-CEO Country Court commented: “Working with the team at Cynergy Bank has been a pleasure. Their sector knowledge and commercial approach has ensured the smooth refinancing for two of our care homes, as well as the acquisition of two previously leased care homes in Essex. We plan to grow the relationship over time as Country Court continues to expand, delivering high quality care, in high-end environments.”
Richard Martin, relationship director at Cynergy Bank added: “We are proud to have supported Country Court in the next phase of its growth journey. The team has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care across the UK, and we are pleased to provide funding that will enable strategic acquisitions and future development.”
