Restructuring and insolvency practice Business Rescue Expert expands with new north west operation
Restructuring and insolvency practice Business Rescue Expert has launched a north west operation, spearheaded by the former national head of restructuring and insolvency at law firm Freeths.
Kevin Pinkerton has joined the firm as managing director after 23 years as a lawyer specialising in restructuring and insolvency, during which time he also qualified as a licensed insolvency practitioner.
He headed a team across seven offices at Freeths, having joined the firm in 2007 and becoming a partner in 2010.
Kevin began his legal career as a trainee at George Davies Solicitors in Manchester, then worked at Turner Parkinson before Freeths.
“His 23 years spent as a specialist insolvency lawyer brings a unique offering in advice to other professionals as well as directors, in terms of his technical legal knowledge, commercial approach and experience.

“Kevin’s appointment adds further in-depth expertise to the practice in every aspect of all statutory processes, from administrations, receiverships and voluntary arrangements to bankruptcy appointments, solvent liquidations and everything in between.”
Kevin, who is a fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals – known as R3 – said: “Business Rescue Expert has grown to become a nationally-respected corporate insolvency practice, having advised more than 10,000 business owners and directors and handled over 1,100 formal insolvency appointments.”
