A subsidiary of a UK banking group and leading provider of corporate banking and corporate finance facilities seeks an experienced Auditor & surveyor to join a dedicated corporate team in the invoice finance and asset-based lending sector.

The team are responsible for large and major corporate clients, many with asset-based lending and stock facilities.

You will be responsible for conducting new business surveys and performing due diligence on existing invoice finance clients to assess the financial security and identify potential areas of risk. All clients have borrowing facilities with the bank which are invoice discounting, syndicated and/or asset-based lending with turnover of circa £25m and above.

You will work in close partnership with the relationship management team and other areas of portfolio risk to minimise bad debt provisions through understanding credit stewardship principles and early identification of risk to security within the corporate sector.

Audits are conducted at the client’s premises and will involve the full analysis of management accounts and business management systems.

Previous experience in a large ticket Audit role is essential as is knowledge of business lending, banking and/or business finance. Experience of ABL and syndicated facilities is preferred.

ACCA / ACA, AAT, CIMA or part qualified accountants are desirable.

This is a field based role responsible for undertaking full client audits of small medium and large corporate organisations in the commercial sector. Our client, one of the UK's leading independent providers of financial services to businesses requires client managers to join their expanding team in the south Midlands region.

Your role will be to effectively manage a portfolio of business clients and their factoring and / or discounting arrangements to ensure profitability and maximise revenue.

You will also be responsible for the ongoing coaching, management and development of a small team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established organisation promoting an innovative and market leading finance product.

Experience of factoring and invoice discounting is essential and a solid understanding of business finance and its practical applications.

Some experience of managing a team is highly preferable although consideration will be given to individuals who can demonstrate positive behaviours in developing into their first leadership position.

We will also be happy to review the career details of those currently operating in a number of related areas such as invoice finance, commercial banking, corporate banking, asset finance and/or other areas of finance sales or a related business finance industry.

Your role will be to effectively manage a portfolio of commercial clients and their invoice finance arrangements to ensure profitability and maximise revenue.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established organisation promoting an innovative and market leading finance product.

Experience of factoring and invoice discounting is preferable but not essential. However a solid understanding of business finance and its practical applications is a prerequisite.
