1pm plc appoints Berry to drive expansion across the broker market
1pm plc has announced the appointment of Stuart Berry as broker manager in their asset division. Stuart will be responsible for managing and growing their valued network of brokers across the North of the country, in support of the firm’s ambitious growth strategy.
The appointment comes at an exciting time for 1pm as they continue to invest in the business to support their continuing growth. The firm has recently strengthened its management team with the high-profile appointments of Carol Roberts as head of asset and Lorraine Neyland as head of risk.
1pm is focussed on providing UK businesses who are looking to grow and invest with access to the right forms of funding and with recent figures revealing that only 7% of firms make use of leasing, HP or vehicle finance, there is a big opportunity to bring greater awareness to the market around the flexibility that these financial solutions can offer.
Stuart brings to 1pm over 20 years’ experience within the asset finance sector, the last 12 of which in broker management roles with lenders such as General Asset Management, Shire Leasing, and most recently with Ignition Credit. Within these roles Stuart gained extensive experience liaising directly with with clients, brokers and existing lenders to ensure efficient processing and prompt release of funds for complex transactions
