A new era for Queensway – The Whiteley welcomes seven new retailers
Savills is pleased to announce a major milestone for The Whiteley, as it welcomes seven new retail brands to the scheme. From acclaimed dining concepts to world-class fitness and cultural experiences, these launches mark a defining moment for Queensway as it undergoes an impressive £3bn regeneration.
The Whiteley, also home to the first Six Senses London, has welcomed Third Space, Everyman, Nela, 3812 Gallery, Duck & Dry, Adventures in Furniture and Guillam Coffee House. The £1.5bn restoration of London’s first department store has been spearheaded by development manager Valouran and joint investment partners MARK and C C Land.
Each of the newly opened brands is positioned across the building’s ground and lower-ground floors, with frontages on Queensway, Redan Place and Porchester Gardens. Paying reverence to The Whiteley’s origins as a pioneering department store and pillar of the local community, these openings pave the way for the site to once again welcome local use.
With a total of 20 brands planned for the 1.1 million sq. ft site, this significant milestone is set to be followed by several further openings throughout 2026. The new brands include the Mayfair-based café LALÏ, indoor golf destination 14 Clubs, premium pharmacy Whiteley Health, Japanese mochi bar Yuum, the South Kensington-based salon Oblique Beauty, and luxury food store Willy’s. The commercial offering at The Whiteley is now 89% let, with additional retailers set to be announced soon.
Standing as a cornerstone of Queensway’s wider re-imagination, guided by the Queensway Steering Group – a collective of local landowners and investors committed to improving the street through unprecedented investment. A series of significant public-realm enhancements are now underway including widened pavements, extensive regreening, new gates into Hyde Park, upgrades to two Underground stations, the introduction of pavilions for all-day dining, and a programme of public art installations.

Ed Lewis, director in Super Prime Sales at Savills, says: “Queensway is undergoing a significant regeneration and the transformation is driving exceptional demand from both retailers and consumers. The strength of interest we are seeing at The Whiteley reflects growing confidence in the area and the scheme, and we expect momentum to continue as further brands launch throughout 2026. We look forward to supporting this next chapter for both The Whiteley and Queensway as a whole.”

Alex Michelin, founder and CEO of Valouran comments: “The arrival of these brands marks the beginning of an exciting and defining next chapter for The Whiteley. Our ambition has always been to reimagine this iconic landmark as a destination that unites London, where heritage, craft and innovation come together under one roof, welcoming residents, hotel guests and visitors alike. These brands will be followed by the opening of Six Senses London – which will feature the group’s first ever private members club, Six Senses Place – as well a line-up of additional brands we will be announcing throughout 2026. With our commercial space now 89% let and 76%, this is testament not only to the quality of the product we have delivered, but also to the growing prominence of the neighbourhood as a sought-after London destination.”
