ABN AMRO appoints Rick Torken as country executive UK
ABN AMRO is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Torken as country executive for ABN AMRO in the UK. In his previous role, Rick was responsible for ABN AMRO’s operations in Latin America as CEO of Banco ABN AMRO S.A. Rick’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

“Rick Torken has been very successful in rebuilding our operations in Brazil. I am confident that with his experience and energy he will be equally as successful in leading our UK operations.”
Rick, a Dutch native, started his career with ABN AMRO in 2008 and has held senior international management positions since. Rick knows the UK market well having lived and worked in London from 1999 to 2001.

Rick succeeds Robbert Booij, who has taken on the position of CEO Europe at ABN AMRO Clearing.
