Aldermore launches new dealer services team
Aldermore has established a new team to provide financing to dealers. The dealer services team comprises new experienced senior relationship appointments from the agriculture, construction, transportation and materials handling industries, as well as experts from the bank’s existing asset finance team.
The new field-based team offers UK-wide coverage and consists of Ian Smith, formerly of HSBC and CNH Capital, who covers the North; Brian Warbrick, who has joined from BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions in the Midlands; Alan Yetts, formerly of Volvo Financial Services, covering the East; and Russell Nicholls, who joined from CNH Capital, in the South and West. The new team is led by Tim Biddle who joined Aldermore two years ago from Siemens, where he supported the development of financing for manufacturers and dealers in the engineering industry.
Following the launch of the new team, Aldermore now offers stock, fleet and customer financing as well as offering dealers cash flow solutions through receivables and inventory finance all now provided by a single team supported by our dedicated asset and invoice finance credit and sales teams. The team has the mandate to look at alternative deal structures, new schemes and products to find the best solution for its dealer clients, and also has experts on hand to provide advice on trade credit, invoice discounting and commercial mortgages.
To coincide with the launch of the dealer services team, Aldermore is offering a free and independent FCA health check to all its dealers to provide them with practical support and advice on the increasing regulatory burden that they face.
Jon Maycock, sales director, asset finance at Aldermore, said:
“Dealers are currently facing a variety of challenges. We have assembled a strong team of industry specialists who understand these challenges and are available to help dealers to navigate them. The team combines extensive experience of both supplying and financing industrial business equipment and their expertise aligns with the industries where Aldermore has particular specialisms, namely agriculture, construction, transportation and materials handling.
“Our new dealer services team is set up to deliver on our promise to be transparent, straightforward and easy to do business with. The team acts as a one-stop-shop for dealer and end-customer finance and with our ‘can-do’ attitude I believe we are uniquely positioned to provide this support.”
